Day 20- Tyson's 20th

Friday was Meg's (Tyson is her soroity nickname) 20th Birthday! KV's mom made the cake the night before and KV and Debbie decorated it. It was funny because Meg and I went to sercurity so she could get a new ID card and we were walking back to the room. But the whole time at sercurity Debbie was texting, saying to keep Meg away for a couple of minutes. But we came back about 30 seconds to early. No one was ready and I think it was Kirby who turned around and was like "Surprise!" One of those oops you weren't supposed to see this. We came back and found ballons all over the room and this cake on my desk.

Day 19- C&O Expo

Thursday was the C&O Expo, it is where clubs and organizations have a little table set up up posters and information on their club. This was our table, we had our banner, a blanket the Debbie crocheted, a banner we made for homecoming. Also we had some crafts up on the table that we have made. This year the turn out for the expo was really small, we ended up having 6 or so girls sign up. Not bad.

Day 18- Snow! Snow! Snow!

Tuesday we had a snow day! It was nice because I found out at like 5:30 in the morning and I turned off my alarm. Although the day wasn't that nice, it started to rain so we couldn't go out and have a snowball fight. But we found other things to do. Since it had rained so much and made puddles which ended up freezing; the capus the next day horrible. Every pathway was covered in a decently thick ice slab. The college did a bad job of salting the paths, so the walk to class was dangerous. This one of the trees along the side of Harter Lane. You can see the puddle that was frozen, unfrozen, walked through, and then frozen again. I like this picture because you can see the sun clearly shining on the snow but no sun!

Day 17 -Green with Envy

Yes, yes I know what you are thinking. Why are you drinking that engery drink? You don't need any more engery. Well that is probably true but I drink them anyways. I think they taste good, a though at schoool I only drink Amp. At home Matt and I will always get two and we will trade off and switch and see which we like the best. I love spiliting energy drinks with Matt, mostly because I don't like to drink the whole things. But it is still one of my favorite things to do with that kid.

Meanwhile here at school I don't have anyone to spilit it with. But for a limited time Amp had cans honoring Dale Jr, and these cans were one serving size each. This made it incredibily easy to drink it all by yourself. Anyways thats not the point, the point is that Laura, one of my soroity sisters, was collecting all 4 of the specail edition cans. We had gotten 3 out of the 4 when we realized that we had never seen what can number 3 looked liked. And so ensued the hunt to find that can but alas we never found it. Laura's collection remains unfinshed. And amp doesn't make the Dale Jr cans anymore.

Now this photo my look photoshopped but it isn't. I found this cool feature on my camera called color accent. It picks up the brightest color or where it has the most light. The reason the ground is half in color and half not is because of this feature. I thought it was a neat feature and it brings out more to the object in the photo.

Day 16 -Square

So the highlight if my monday, was going to work again. I work in the IT department, Information and technology. In which my tasks usually consists of putting together new computers, moving large amounts of computers, driving the golf cart around campus and putting up friends hehe. Or any kind of odd task you can think. Sometimes I have to walk around to each dorm to make sure the computers work in every lounge or even better I get to walk around and clean computers! But as much as I do complain about how I hate working there...it's not true. I love it, well most of the time. The guys in the office are nice and I can joke around with them a lot. They know that the jobs not that exciting, so they cut me slack when the boss isn't around. Right now since I can't really do that much with one arm, my boss has me doing retard tasks. The other day I spent 4 hours typig stuff up in an excel worksheet and the other day I got to hole punch stuff...I'm moving up! lol

Day 15- College Life

The other day I deicde to go food shopping with my two friends Sarah and Brittany. And normally I would just go to a store and find whatever I needed, but Sarah's way to shop is to go up and down every single alsie. I just thought it was funny that I got the typical college food here. Some ramen because some days thats better than what the cafe has to offer. I also got chewy bars, which I eat like cookie monster eats cookies! Some Nutri-Grain bars....they are yummy. Also I have Yogart and Sunny D, I figured people were probably goning to get sick soon.... I'm trying to stay one step ahead. I got my all-time favorite thing... Scooby Doo fruit snacks!!! I love those thngs. But this whole shopping adventure took us about an hour. It was very intense and then to check out..we used the self check things. Note for everyone.... never use one of those when you only have one hand! It's very frustrating.

Day 14- Real or Fake?

This picture really should have been my first post. I took it during ome of my last days home, I was sitting at Matt's house explaining this project to him. When he deiceded to start; so he whipped out his camera and started snapping away. I took the camera and wanted to play around with it. I pointed it at the table where this crystal bowl lay filled with oranges. I wanted to capture the oranges from a different angle then people are used too. Although reviewing the image now I think the oranges look so fake, almost like they are painted into the picture. Anyways I really like this picture, I think it looks sweet!

Day 13- Pride

Once again we land on the opposite side of the lake. No we didn't walk across it but simply walked around the side. Liz and I jumped back onto the lake, actually we really didn't. The lake on this side had like a slushy top part to it, so we walked with caution at first. It was cool to see the lake from that side, its set against a nice landscape. Anyways I deiceded to write Omega Chi on the ice. No real reason needed, just did it because I could. Also I have a lot of pride for my soroity. My cast on my arm even says OX. I like this picture because there a heart inside of the C. I didn't do it on purpose, it was just the way I ended up turning my feet to write the letter. Too bad the next day was even warmer and the ice on the lake melted.

Day 12- The Thin Ice

At school there is this man made lake called Lake Archer. It's a creepy lake, there are mutant fish in there and im pretty sure its radioactive. But this winter it was actually cold enough to freeze the lake! A Bunch of people have deiceded it was a good shortcut to take on the way to class. My roommate Liz and I walked down to the lake and well being a good friend I dared Liz to step on it. She was afaird so I said I would step on it with her. We get on top of the ice and everything is fine of course.We stand there for a bit and dance. And then we do the unthinkable, we deiceded to walk across the whole lake even though it was slighty above 32 degress. Although we only walked where there was footprints, we really didnt want to test our luck with the rest of the lake. And we made it across safely! Now I can say that I've walked across Lake Archer!

Day 11- Avast Ye Matey! We are coloring!

So my internet service is being wierd and only lets my log onto it for 2 hours at a time, so when I orginally went to post this it like kicked me off and erased everything that I had done. Here I go again hopefully it will let me post.

"I always tell my family that at college my friends and I color! Well here is the proof. The other night I walk into my room aned find 3 of my friend watercoloring these gaint pirate coloring pages. My roommate Sanna has been trying to get us to color these every night but something always comes up. So we watercolored some pictures and hung them up out in the common room. I still havent finshed mine because I decided to do it in extreme detail. Oh well maybe ill finsh it today."

Day 10- Winter Horror Land!

Today is Martan Luther King Jr. day, and suprisingly DelVal gave us the day off. My friends and I spent the day relaxing, it felt like a sunday so we did our usual sunday stuff. Woke up went to brunch, omg today at brunch they had actual french toast. It was amazing! It was snowing outside, it looked so beatiful. It snowed And then we watched Finding Nemo, while my friend KV cleaned her fish tank. After that Meg suggested we should all go help her with the boxers. It usually it only takes us about 45 mins to a hour to do the boxers well today it took us over 2 hours to do because the roads were so bad. We actually almost slid off the road a couple of times. It was crazy! There were so many accidents! We were so realived to be home finally.

Day 9- X Ray Vision

This is one of my 4 xrays. You can actually see the crack in it. Although it is really hrad to see it in the picture. It's just a small crack in a small bone, not in one of the major bones. I can move my fingers and my risk, just not bend it straight. I go see the doctor tomorrow and he will tell me if i need surgery or maybe just more time in a cast, which im hoping for. Today my arm was so itchy because the ace bandage was so tightly wound around my arm. I had to take the second ace bandage off to let my arm airout and so i could stratch it. :) I also got a bunch of pirate pictures from the hopstail! It was awesome, I felt like a little kid but I dont care. :)

Day 8- The day After

Well as you might have heard I cracked my elbow! I wanted to run up and pick up my friend to say hi but at the same time that I did that she tired to jump on me! And it didnt mix so we fell and both our body weights went into my elbow, the one that I already have broken before. So it really hurt but i decided to bear the pain for the night. The next day I woke up and it still hurt. I went to the ER and got shuffled around between 3 different waiting rooms. In the end i ended up cracking my elbow and they put it into a splint. It is like a new-fangled kind of cast, it is half hard and the top is soft. I dont I cant explain it well. So sorry in advance if some things are captailized while other things arent. I am after all typing with one hand.

Day 7- Peace

" As I was saying before my roommate makes fun of me and called me a wierdo, while i was setting up this picture. But of course when I was scrolling through the pictures trying to find the one I wanted to use she looks at them and says wow you take such artsic photos! lol I guess so won't be making fun of me anymore!"

Day 6- Slinky

"Anyways, I sit in my room sometimes and think about cool things to take pictures of. Like the rubber duck picture I was at my desk taking pictures of them and two of my roommates were in here too and they always make fun of me. Anyways I love this picture of the slinky, just the fact that i think it shouts slinky. So thats what I've been doing in my spare time."

Day 4 & 5 Rubber Ducky, You're the One!

I have a feeling that I probably wont post everyday. Hmm I don't know where my rat is right now. That's not good. I'll find her eventually. Hopefully. Ah I see her, she ran across the room. Well so far she hasn't discovered the fact that we now have a common room to explore and bathroom and other room on the other side. Although I did see her, I have subsquently lost her again. That damm rat! lol But I love her still.

"I have been collecting rubber duck since last year during A-Day (it's basically a state fair that we hold on our campus once a year.) During that time I grabbed a rubber duck that looked like a farmer and I put him in charge of my plants. And since then I have gotten 3 more rubber duckies. Two of them are really small and they don't squeak or anything but they are cute. One has shamrocks on it and the other duck has hearts. My newest duck is the organe devil duck. It has horns and a pitch fork on it. Lol I find it funny, not sure if many others do too."

"This is one of my walls at school. I love decorating my walls in different pictures. At home I have a wall of all different nature, animals and just odd things up. I could literally spend hours upon hours looking for pictures in magizines and finding the perfect spot for each picture. At school my wall is slowly gathering pictures. I need to get a magizine every week just so I can keep finding new ones and adding to the collection.

Day 3- A Salute to those Forgotten.

This picture is for those you have given their lives on 9/11 and for those you are still fighting over there. It seems that many have forgotten that day, but for me I will never forget. I guess coming from New York you feel the lost more. But that day has effected everyone, I just wish Everyone could see that. So this is my salute for those you have fallen, granteed it is the middle of January but we should remember them all year round. Not just once a year when September 11, rolls around.

Day 1 and Day 2

So I orginally heard about this from my sister and thought it was a great idea. It seems really cool because you can never recall the really funny things about life or even jsut small moments. So I decieded to start this although I left my camera at school, so I had to start it when I got back.

"This first picture is of a bee. It was Meg, KV and I standing outside just after it snowed, we were on the Centianl Stoop and KV was like "Im gonna make a snow angel." Well instead of getting down and doing it she used her feet. And after making it she made it into a face. At first I didn't realize this and after a while I said it outloud that it looked like a face and Meg then looking down said to make it into a bee. So KV drew the body and added legs and a stinger. Meg said that it needed wings; so KV drew some wings. And that is the story of the bee, that first night back in the winter of

2009."

"So this was taken tonight. Yes that is a gaint champagie glass with three straws connected together. It is my three soroity sisters Sanna, Kirby and Dani. Tonight we played Candyland, yes I said Cnadyland. It was great every time we got something else other than a colored card we have to take a shot of this stuff in the gaint glass. And then we played Gofish with seven people; it was a 2-minute game because we only had three cards left after dealing seven to everyone. We also played Kemps and spoons. It was great and at the end we a few left we played scrubs drinking games. It was awesome. I'm loving my new room because my friends love to come over now! It's gonna be a great semester! I know it.
